Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Remove skin from chicken pieces or breasts.
  2. Place margarine in a small bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds until melted.
  3. Mix together Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, parsley flakes, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  4. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Roll chicken in melted margarine, then in the bread crumb mixture to coat evenly.
  6. Arrange chicken in a 2-quart casserole dish with meaty ends on the outer edges.
  7. Sprinkle paprika over the top of the chicken pieces.
  8. Cover the dish with waxed paper.
  9. Microwave on high for 12 to 14 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through cooking.
