Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 8 oz sharp cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups rice crispies

Instructions

  1. Cut the margarine into the flour until the texture resembles coarse meal.
  2. Grate the cheese into a fine mixture.
  3. Mix the grated cheese, red pepper, and salt with the flour mixture.
  4. Fold in the rice crispies.
  5. Press the mixture into an individual biscuit cutter.
  6. Remove the pressed mixture to a cookie sheet one at a time.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 13 to 15 minutes.
