Creamy, cheesy pasta pate combines tender pasta with rich cheeses and flavorful peppers, perfect as a savory dip or appetizer for gatherings and snack times.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. pasta, cooked
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
  • 3 Tbsp. green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped pimento
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 cup of pasta and cook according to the package directions.
  2. Allow the cooked pasta to cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper, chopped pimento, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Mix all ingredients until well blended.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and refrigerate for at least one hour, or overnight for best flavor.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers.
