Pasta With Shellfish

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter ⓘ
- 1/2 c. olive oil ⓘ
- 1 c. dry white wine
- 6 large garlic cloves ⓘ
- 1 tsp. crushed rosemary
- pinch of oregano ⓘ
- 1 large onion
- 1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes ⓘ
- 3 c. shellfish (shrimp, lobster, scallops, lump crab meat) ⓘ
- 1/2 c. minced parsley ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. sugar ⓘ
- salt to taste ⓘ
- pepper to taste ⓘ
Instructions
- Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet until bubbling. Add white wine, minced garlic, crushed rosemary, oregano, and chopped onion. Cook, stirring until the wine evaporates and the butter turns golden.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add drained Italian tomatoes, shellfish, minced parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir until the seafood is thoroughly heated through.
- Serve the sauce over hot cooked pasta such as fettucine or spaghetti.
