Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1 c. dry white wine
  • 6 large garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. crushed rosemary
  • pinch of oregano
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes
  • 3 c. shellfish (shrimp, lobster, scallops, lump crab meat)
  • 1/2 c. minced parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet until bubbling. Add white wine, minced garlic, crushed rosemary, oregano, and chopped onion. Cook, stirring until the wine evaporates and the butter turns golden.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Add drained Italian tomatoes, shellfish, minced parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir until the seafood is thoroughly heated through.
  3. Serve the sauce over hot cooked pasta such as fettucine or spaghetti.
