Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 10 ounces peanut butter chips
  • 2/3 cup white syrup
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Mix 1/3 cup melted margarine and egg well, then press into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  3. While hot, cover the baked mixture with miniature marshmallows.
  4. In a saucepan, combine 1/4 cup melted margarine, vanilla, peanut butter chips, white syrup, and peanut butter; cook until smooth.
  5. Add rice krispies and peanuts to the mixture.
  6. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the marshmallows and baked base, spreading evenly.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
