Ingredients

  • 4 medium peaches or 2 cups frozen sliced peaches
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 1 cup skim milk or 3/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. If using fresh peaches, immerse them in boiling water and blanch until skins start to split, about 1 minute.
  2. Immediately drain the peaches and cool them under cold running water.
  3. Peel off the skins and slice.
  4. Place the peaches, raspberries, milk or yogurt, lemon juice, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a blender.
  5. Process until smooth, about 20 to 30 seconds.
  6. Pour into 4 glasses.
