Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafer cookies
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 (8 oz) containers frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 small boxes instant chocolate pudding mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Stir together crushed vanilla wafer cookies, finely chopped nuts, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes and then cool.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, packed brown sugar, and creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  6. Stir in one container of thawed whipped topping.
  7. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Prepare the instant chocolate pudding mix according to package instructions.
  9. Spread or pipe the prepared pudding over the peanut butter layer.
  10. Top with remaining whipped topping and refrigerate until set before serving.
