Peanut Date Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chunky style peanut butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 c. uncooked rolled oats
  • 1 c. dates, cut up
  • 1/2 c. walnuts

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, sugars and peanut butter.
  2. Add eggs, water and vanilla and beat until creamy.
  3. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together into creamy mixture and blend well.
  4. Mix in oats and dates.
  5. Drop teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350° for 10 or 15 minutes.
