Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. sliced stuffed olives

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Add garlic and onion; cook until transparent. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, diced green pepper, and raisins; cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, cloves, and cinnamon to taste.
  5. Stir in toasted sliced almonds and sliced stuffed olives.
  6. Serve the pecadillo over rice.
