Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 egg in a bowl.
  2. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 3 eggs.
  5. Pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer in the crust.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top is firm.
  7. Cool the pie and refrigerate before serving.
