Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and water.
  2. Add flour and chopped pecans. Chill for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Roll out the dough into rectangular pieces in your hands.
  4. Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly and shake in powdered sugar while still warm.
