Pecan Tasses are delightful mini tart shells filled with a rich, sweet pecan filling, perfect for elegant desserts or special occasions appealing to nut lovers.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 2/3 c. pecans

Instructions

  1. Blend the cream cheese, butter, flour, egg, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  2. Chill the mixture for 1 hour.
  3. Divide the chilled dough into small balls.
  4. Place each ball into a small cupcake pan and shape into a crust using your knuckles and fingers.
  5. Bake as desired or fill with additional ingredients for a complete tart.
