Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless chuck
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Partially freeze the meat for 20 to 30 minutes.
  2. Slice the meat paper thin and sprinkle with paprika.
  3. Brown the meat and garlic in hot margarine in a skillet.
  4. Add hot water, soy sauce, and the beef bouillon cube.
  5. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add sliced onions, green peppers, and peeled, cut tomatoes.
  7. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  8. Stir in the blended cornstarch and water mixture.
  9. Cook and stir gently until the sauce thickens.
  10. Serve hot with rice.
