Persimmon Date Loaf

- Sift the flour and measure again, then sift with sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in the bread crumbs.
- Mix the melted butter, milk, vanilla, persimmon pulp, chopped nuts, and chopped dates in a separate bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just blended.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
