Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 packages refrigerated pizza crust
  • 8 ounces deli sliced roast beef
  • 8 ounces American cheese
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Press garlic into hot oil, then add chopped green bell pepper, chopped onion, and half the oregano. Cook and stir until vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Unroll one pizza crust and stretch into a 9 x 13-inch rectangle.
  6. Layer half of the sliced roast beef and American cheese over the crust.
  7. Spread half of the cooked vegetable mixture over the cheese.
  8. Roll up the rectangle jelly roll style, starting with the longer side.
  9. Place on a pizza pan, seam side down, forming a half circle.
  10. Repeat with the second crust and toppings, then place both in the pan to form a complete circle, pinching ends together to join.
