  1. Wash and scrape pig's feet.
  2. Boil until the meat slips from the bone; drain.
  3. Place the cooked pig's feet in a bowl.
  4. Combine vinegar, whole cloves, salt, pepper, bay leaf, and sliced onion.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Add 2 cups of the broth in which the pig's feet were cooked.
  7. Strain the mixture.
  8. Pour the pickling liquid over the pig's feet.
  9. Let stand for 3 days before serving.
