Ingredients

  • 3 cups ground cooked ham
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (20 oz.) can sliced pineapple
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground ham, ground pork, bread crumbs, beaten eggs, and pepper; mix well.
  2. Chill the mixture.
  3. Form into 10 balls and set aside.
  4. Drain the pineapple slices, reserving 1/2 cup of juice.
  5. Place the reserved juice in a saucepan with brown sugar, vinegar, and dry mustard.
  6. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
