- Remove leafy top of pineapple and reserve.
- Cut pineapple lengthwise into 8 wedges.
- Core each wedge and slash vertically 1 inch apart down to but not through the skin.
- Heat butter in a small saucepan on the grill until melted.
- Add honey, lime juice, and ginger to the butter and mix well.
- Brush the cut surfaces of the pineapple with lime juice.
- Place pineapple spears on the grill and cook for 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes and brushing with the lime mixture.
