Ingredients

  • 16 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • assorted crackers

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup chopped pecans, drained crushed pineapple, chopped green pepper, grated onion, and seasoned salt; mix well and chill for one hour.
  2. Divide the mixture in half. Shape each portion into a 3-inch ball and roll in the remaining chopped pecans.
  3. Chill the cheese balls for several hours.
  4. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve with assorted crackers.
