Ingredients

  • 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 10 walnut halves
  • 1 package ready-to-bake biscuits

Instructions

  1. Drain the crushed pineapple, reserving the syrup.
  2. Combine the pineapple, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly into 10 greased muffin cups.
  4. Place a walnut half on top of each pineapple filling.
  5. Add one teaspoon of the reserved pineapple syrup to each cup.
  6. Top each with a ready-to-bake biscuit.
  7. Bake at 425°F for 12 to 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.
  8. Immediately invert the muffin cups onto a serving plate.
  9. Cool for 1 minute before lifting off the cups and serving.
