Ingredients

  • 4 lb. ground beef
  • 3 (16 oz.) cans Brooks chili beans
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomato juice
  • chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to the cooked meat.
  3. Simmer the chili for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add liquid such as juice or water if the chili becomes too thick.
