Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1/4 cup catsup

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly combine all ingredients except catsup.
  2. Pack lightly into a 9-inch glass cake dish or quiche dish, making a well in the center.
  3. Place a custard cup upside-down in the center of the dish.
  4. Microwave on high for about 30 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Remove from microwave, spread catsup over the top, and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
