- Roll out half the pastry 1/8-inch thick to line an 8-inch square pan.
- Mix cooked rice with 1/2 cup of cream sauce.
- Place half of the rice mixture in the pastry-lined pan.
- Add pieces of canned salmon over the rice.
- Distribute sautéed onions and chopped hard-cooked eggs over the salmon.
- Cover with the remaining rice mixture.
- Roll out the second half of the pastry and place it over the rice filling.
- Moisten the edges of the top crust to allow steam escape.
- Bake in a preheated moderate oven at 350°F for 1 hour.
