Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 4 premelted packages baking chocolate
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • confectioners sugar
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Stir margarine, baking chocolate, and cocoa over low heat until melted, ensuring the mixture does not stick.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the sugar to the chocolate mixture, then add the eggs.
  3. Beat the mixture well until smooth.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
  6. Take a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture and roll it into a ball.
  7. Roll each ball in confectioners sugar until fully coated and white.
  8. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 18 to 20 minutes at 300°F (150°C).
