Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup Wesson Oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 ounces fresh yeast cake
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 6-8 cups flour
  • 1/2 pound grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pound white American cheese

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs well in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add milk, salt, and pepper to the eggs and mix.
  3. Melt butter, margarine, and oil in a small pan on the stove until warm.
  4. Allow the melted mixture to cool.
  5. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and mix well.
  6. Add the yeast mixture to the cooled butter mixture, then add grated Parmesan cheese and all to the egg mixture.
  7. Mix well with an electric mixer to blend thoroughly.
  8. Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, up to 4 cups, mixing as you go.
  9. Turn off the electric mixer.
  10. Remove the bowl from the mixer and add 1/4 cup Crisco, mixing with your hands.
  11. Continue adding the remaining flour gradually using a wooden spoon to mix until the dough is consistent.
