Ingredients

  • 7 oz. macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups prepared spaghetti sauce
  • 3 oz. pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 small green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, chopped and seeded
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare macaroni according to package directions.
  2. Drain the cooked macaroni.
  3. In a medium bowl, blend milk and beaten egg.
  4. Add macaroni to the bowl and mix well.
  5. Spread the macaroni mixture evenly into a greased 10 x 15-inch baking dish.
  6. Spoon spaghetti sauce over the macaroni mixture.
  7. Top with sliced pepperoni, chopped green pepper, chopped tomato, sliced onion rings, and sliced mushrooms.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  9. Bake at 350°F until hot and macaroni is set, about 30 minutes.
  10. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
