- Cook spaghetti as directed on box, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook chopped onion and green pepper until tender.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook thoroughly.
- Pour in the sauce and simmer the mixture for a few minutes.
- Mix ricotta cheese with cooked spaghetti.
- Combine the ricotta-spaghetti mixture with the cooked meat and sauce mixture, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour half of the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Layer slices of provolone cheese over the first layer.
- Pour in the remaining mixture and add another layer of cheese on top.
- Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven until the cheese starts to bubble, about 20-25 minutes.
