Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
  • 2 Tbsp. masa flour
  • 1 Tbsp. onions
  • 1 tsp. red paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 3 oz. chili pepper
  • 8 oz. water

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet or saucepan.
  2. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Add tomato sauce, whole tomatoes, kidney beans, and water to the skillet.
  4. Stir in all ingredients except masa flour.
  5. Cook on low heat approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  6. Add masa flour for thickening, then continue to cook another 30 minutes.
