Ingredients

  • 12 oz. jar plum preserves
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. chopped dried red chili pepper or crushed red pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine plum preserves, vinegar, brown sugar, chopped onion, red chili pepper or crushed red pepper, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
  2. Bring the mixture to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  3. Cool slightly.
  4. Refrigerate in a covered container overnight to blend seasonings.
