Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork loin, cut into strips ⓘ
- 1 medium cooking apple, diced
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips ⓘ
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter ⓘ
- 1 cup water ⓘ
- 1/2 cup apple juice ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups original Minute Rice ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook and stir pork, apple, pepper, and scallions in hot margarine in a large skillet until browned.
- Add sugar, salt, water, apple juice, soy sauce, and vinegar; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.
