Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
  • 5 or 6 lean rib pork chops
  • prepared mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 5 or 6 onion slices

Instructions

  1. Turn the pork and beans into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange the pork chops over the beans.
  3. Season the chops with salt and pepper, then spread lightly with prepared mustard.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar over the chops and spread with catsup.
  5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Place onion slices atop each chop.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
