Ingredients

  • 2 onions (brown), sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 to 4 lb. pork chops (thick)
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup chili sauce (Heinz)

Instructions

  1. Saute onions in butter until soft, but not brown.
  2. Place pork chops on foil in a shallow cooking pan.
  3. Put onions and lemon slices on top of the pork chops.
  4. Combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and chili sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops.
  6. Seal the foil and cook at 350°F for 1 hour.
  7. Serve the juice over rice.
