- In a large bowl, mix sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and drained pork and beans, beating until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in raisins and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pan and slicing.
