Pork Oreganata

Ingredients

  • 4 (4 ounce) boneless pork loin chops
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, divided
  • 3 3 tablespoons low-fat chicken broth or 3 tablespoons low-sodium low-fat chicken broth
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Coat the pork chops with flour that has been mixed with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat half of the olive oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and saute for 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove from the skillet.
  5. Add the white wine or broth and boil for 1 minute.
  6. Add the remaining olive oil and the garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
  7. Add oregano and thyme and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Put the pork chops back in the pan and coat them with the garlic and oregano.
