Pork Sum Gum

Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced celery ⓘ
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms ⓘ
- 1 cup onion bouillon ⓘ
- 4 oz. onion, finely chopped ⓘ
- 2 medium peppers, cut in strips ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. sherry extract ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce ⓘ
- 2 pimentos, cut in triangles ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. ginger
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 lb. pork, cooked and thinly sliced
- 2 cups cooked rice ⓘ
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sliced celery, sliced mushrooms, onion bouillon, chopped onion, sliced peppers, sherry extract, soy sauce, salt, pepper, ginger, and nutmeg.
- Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until onions and celery are tender but still crisp.
- Add cooked, thinly sliced pork and cut pimentos to the saucepan.
- Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Cook for 3 minutes longer or until hot.
- Serve the mixture over cooked rice.
