Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. hot mashed potatoes
  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. clove
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. Cream together margarine, sugar, and eggs.
  3. Add milk and hot mashed potatoes.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in vanilla and chopped pecans.
  6. Pour batter into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
