Ingredients

  • 1 stick melted oleo
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp corn syrup
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix melted oleo, brown sugar, corn syrup, and chopped pecans.
  2. Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  3. Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. Prepare the butter pecan cake mix according to package instructions and pour over the pecan mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  6. Serve warm, ideally with ice cream.
