Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 2 Tbsp. fat or oil
  • 1 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 c. onions, sliced
  • 1/2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Dredge the round steak in the flour mixture to coat.
  3. Heat fat or oil in the pressure cooker over medium heat.
  4. Brown the steak on both sides, then remove and set aside.
  5. Add onions, celery, and garlic to the cooker and sauté until softened.
  6. Return the steak to the cooker and add canned tomatoes.
  7. Close the lid and cook under pressure for about 20-25 minutes.
  8. Release pressure, then serve hot.
