Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 20 oz frozen strawberries with juice

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed pretzels and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  2. Add melted butter and combine thoroughly.
  3. Press the mixture into a 9 x 12-inch pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake for 7 minutes at 375°F and then cool.
  5. Dissolve strawberry jello in 2 cups of boiling water.
  6. Add frozen strawberries with juice to the jello mixture and let it cool slightly.
  7. Spread cream cheese evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  8. Fold Cool Whip into the cooled strawberry jello mixture.
  9. Pour the strawberry jello mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Refrigerate until set before serving.
