Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Top with chopped pecans.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the pecans.
  7. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before serving and top with whipped topping.
