Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon margarine, melted
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon imitation bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 ounce grated Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, beat egg and milk until well combined.
  3. Beat in melted margarine, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Stir in imitation bacon bits, chopped mushrooms, dried chives, and grated Swiss cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into a small, nonstick sprayed baking pan.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, until the quiche is set.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
