Ingredients

  • pastry for 9-inch deep dish pie
  • 3/4 cup cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped pimiento
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 Tbsp instant minced onion
  • 1/2 to 3/4 tsp seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 9-inch quiche dish or pie pan with pastry; trim excess pastry around edges.
  2. Prick the bottom and sides of the pastry with a fork.
  3. Bake at 400°F for 3 minutes; remove from oven and gently prick with a fork.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes longer; let cool on a rack.
