Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 pound Canadian bacon or ham or Spam
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until light.
  2. Mix in milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg, bacon, and cheese.
  3. Pour into buttered 2-quart baking dish.
  4. Drizzle top with melted butter or margarine.
  5. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 40 minutes or until set.
  6. Cut into squares and serve.
