Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. quick-acting active dry yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water (105° to 115°F)
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix in baking mix and milk until dough forms.
  3. Gently shape into a ball on a surface dusted with baking mix.
  4. Knead the dough 10 times.
  5. Roll the dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
  6. Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter dipped in baking mix and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until soft and puffed.
  8. Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  9. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with butter.
