Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. nut bread mix
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups preserved fruit
  • 3/4 cup chopped dates
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine the nut bread mix, pumpkin pie spice, egg, and orange juice in a bowl.
  2. Stir until dry particles are moistened.
  3. Add the preserved fruit, chopped dates, raisins, and nuts; stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 4 1/2 x 13-inch baking pan lined with brown paper.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
