Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef round
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • pinch salt
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion.
  2. Drain the fat from the skillet.
  3. Pour the browned meat and onion into a slow cooker.
  4. Add minced garlic, salt, tomato sauce, catsup, oregano, sugar, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese to the slow cooker.
  5. Set the cooker to low and cook until the cream cheese has melted into the mixture, about 1 hour.
  6. Stir the mixture well, taste, and adjust seasonings as needed before serving.
