Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • water as directed on cake mix box
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 medium bananas, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a 9 x 13-inch pan by greasing or flouring it.
  2. Combine the cake mix, eggs, water, oil, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl and beat as directed on the cake mix box.
  3. Fold in the mashed bananas and ground walnuts until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake according to the directions on the cake mix box, approximately 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
