Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (4 oz.) can coconut

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, beat eggs well.
  2. Stir in chopped dates, margarine, and sugar.
  3. Pour the mixture into a skillet.
  4. Cook until thickened, stirring very often.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in chopped pecans, vanilla, and coconut.
  7. Chill the mixture.
  8. Form into balls.
  9. Roll the balls in coconut.
