Ingredients

  • 1 box lasagne noodles
  • 1 large jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • 1 to 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small carton cottage cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion together in a skillet.
  2. Drain grease from the beef.
  3. Add the spaghetti sauce to the drained beef and simmer briefly.
  4. Cook lasagne noodles according to the package directions.
  5. Layer the ingredients in a baking dish: bottom layer of noodles, then Parmesan cheese and cottage cheese, followed by the meat sauce, and topped with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat layers if desired, making about three layers in total.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours until bubbly and golden on top.
