- Brown ground beef and chopped onion together in a skillet.
- Drain grease from the beef.
- Add the spaghetti sauce to the drained beef and simmer briefly.
- Cook lasagne noodles according to the package directions.
- Layer the ingredients in a baking dish: bottom layer of noodles, then Parmesan cheese and cottage cheese, followed by the meat sauce, and topped with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers if desired, making about three layers in total.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours until bubbly and golden on top.
