Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed vegetable soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 16 oz. pkg. frankfurters, sliced diagonally
  • dash of hot pepper sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, sauté the chopped onion in butter until tender.
  2. Blend in the flour until well combined.
  3. Stir in the undiluted condensed vegetable soup, water, sliced frankfurters, and hot pepper sauce if desired.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
